Phil formed Philip Brown Services in March 1994 after retiring from the Metropolitan Police Force, having served 20 years working in central and the outer districts of London. During the last five years of service he was attached to Special Branch (Close Protection) and travelled extensively throughout the British Isles.
During his service Phil passed courses in Advanced Driving (Class One Grade), National Bodyguard, anti-ambush and anti-hijack driving, advanced firearms (Qualified "Outstanding"), Armoured (Smith and Wesson and Glock), and off-road driving (Range Rovers).
Philip Brown Services are able to provide, in addition to personnel, vehicles of all shapes and sizes including Armoured BMW 7 Series saloon cars, Jaguar, Daimler, Mercedes and Audi A8 luxury saloons, 7 seater limousines, executive Vauxhalls and Fords and Executive Mini-Coach. All are driven by ex-Police Class One Drivers, who are bodyguard trained, with additional training in anti-ambush and anti-hijack techniques. These ex-officers are drawn mainly from Special Branch Close Protection Teams, Royalty Protection Squads or Fire Arms Response Units. In addition, many have Special Forces backgrounds. |
